Happy nearly-summer, neighbors!
Can you believe that summer’s almost here? It’s time for sunshine, beach-time, and, yes, our much-anticipated July 4th celebrations, which are now just three weeks away!
Following last year’s success, Stenning Woods will once again be stepping up to participate in the Hockessin Relays set to take place on the morning of July 4th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Swift Park.

We’re planning some informal practice sessions during the final two weeks of June. Let’s bring back the championship to Stenning Woods!
During these practice sessions, we’ll get crafty and tie-dye team shirts to wear on the 4th. If you’re in, please send us your and your kids’ names, ages, and shirt sizes. You can bring your own shirt, or, if it’s easier, the team leads can pick them up (but please plan on reimbursing ~$5 depending on shirt size). Ideally, we’d love to hear back from you by June 17th so we can have ample time to prepare.

Please see the attached flyer for the “5k for Fireworks” fundraiser on June 29th. As everyone knows, Hockessin has an impressive fireworks display for the size of the town – help support that display by running with your community.
